Nigeria is a core market for TradeBanta, and the whole experience is built to work in Naira from a phone. This guide walks through funding, trading, withdrawing and the rules around all three, so you know what to expect before you start.
Two wallets, one account
Your account holds a Naira (NGN) wallet and a US Dollar (USD) wallet. If you are in Nigeria you fund the Naira wallet, and everything stays in Naira — stake, price, position value, payout — so there is no mental conversion while you trade. The USD wallet is optional and exists for globally priced markets.
Funding by bank transfer
Funding is a normal Nigerian bank transfer to the account details shown in your wallet, from any Nigerian bank or fintech app. Once the transfer lands, the balance is yours to trade immediately.
Trading in Naira
Every market asks one question with a YES and a NO side, and the price is a probability between 1% and 99%. A market at 35% means the crowd rates it about 35% likely, and a winning position pays roughly 1 ÷ probability. The price already includes our margin — nothing is added when you confirm. If you are new to reading prices this way, start with reading odds and probability.
What Nigerians actually trade here is the news you already argue about: Super Eagles matches and NPFL weekends, politics and appointments, the economy, entertainment and culture, plus global crypto and football — browse by league for fixtures.
Cashing out before the result
You are not locked in until the final whistle. While a market is open you can cash out at the position's current value, drawn from the live probability. That is how you take profit early when the news goes your way, or cut a loss when it does not. Details in cashing out before an event ends.
Withdrawing to your Nigerian bank account
Withdrawals go to a bank account in your own name. Before your first Naira withdrawal you complete a quick identity check, and the account name is verified against your details. That check exists for one reason: so nobody but you can move money out of your account. Once verified, you request a withdrawal from your wallet and it is paid to that bank account.
Settlement you can check
Every market names its close time and the source used to decide the answer before you trade. At close the market locks, the source is checked, and winnings are credited automatically. If an event is cancelled or the outcome cannot be verified, the market is voided and every stake is refunded in full. See settlement, disputes and resolution sources.
The rules that protect you
- 18+ only. Trading is restricted to adults, and age is confirmed during identity verification.
- Identity verification. Required before your first Naira withdrawal, and used to confirm the bank account belongs to you.
- Risk of loss is real. A losing position ends worthless. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
- Breaks and self-exclusion. You can take a cooling-off break, self-exclude, or close your account. Our responsible trading page explains how, and lists support contacts.
Rewards are points, not cash bonuses
Engagement features — streaks, missions, leagues and challenges — pay Activity Points. Points are the only reward currency on the platform; they are never a separate cash balance you trade with.
